The Scholarships & Initiatives committee has decided on the recipient of RM-URISA's $1,000 scholarship. It will be awarded at the annual holiday party in December.
There will be scholarships next year, possibly in the spring. So stay tuned!
The Scholarships & Initiatives committee was headed by Carrie McCrea and Dave Watson this year. Thank you for your hard work.
Elections are fast approaching. Members will receive a ballot before the end of the year. Please contact us if you are interested in serving; and as always, we are looking for volunteers.
We are developing a new logo and need your help. If you have graphics talents or have a great idea for a new logo, we'd love to see it. Send an original .ai or .eps to us by Friday, November 14 to get your shot at fantastic prizes (to be announced).
Membership expire on December 31, so renew now for $15. Members are eligible for discounts for most classes and workshops.
